कई सालों से चल रहे अहीर रेजिमेंट बनाने के प्रयास को यादवों ने जी तोड़ मेहनत की है । वीर अहीरों की देश को समर्पण की गाथा नई नहीं है अनेक वीर जवानों ने देश की गरिमा को बचाने के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहूति दी है
और अब राकेश दौलताबाद ने भी अहीर रेजिमेंट बनाने के लिए समर्थन किया है राकेश दौलताबाद हरियाणा में चल रहे इलेक्शन में गुरुग्राम से बिधानसभा प्रत्याशी है
राकेश दौलताबाद ने कहा भारतीय सेना के जरिए देश सेवा सबसे बड़ी सेवा है। अहीर इतिहास अनेकों शहीदो की गौरव गाथाओं से सुसज्जित है। मैं अहीर रेजिमेंट की माँग को अपना पूरा सर्मथन देता हूँ और हरियाणा के युवाओं से अपील करता हूँ कि वो इसी जोश से सेना में भर्ती होने के लिए आगे आते रहें
